UEFA Women's Champions League Group Stage Draw Announced

The draw for the new UEFA Women's Champions League group stage will be streamed live from Nyon today at 1300 CET. In all, 16 teams will compete in the competition's first group stage. The top two teams from each of the four groups will advance to the quarter-finals.
The draw will be conducted by UEFA General Secretary Theodore Theodoridis and UEFA Women's Football Committee member Nadine Kessler. The teams will be drawn from four pots, based on their UEFA club coefficients. Pot 1 will contain the four highest-ranked teams, Pot 2 will contain the next four highest-ranked teams, and so on. No team can be drawn against a team from the same association.
The draw will determine the following group stage matchups:
- Group A: 1st team from Pot 1, 1st team from Pot 2, 1st team from Pot 3, 1st team from Pot 4
- Group B: 2nd team from Pot 1, 2nd team from Pot 2, 2nd team from Pot 3, 2nd team from Pot 4
- Group C: 3rd team from Pot 1, 3rd team from Pot 2, 3rd team from Pot 3, 3rd team from Pot 4
- Group D: 4th team from Pot 1, 4th team from Pot 2, 4th team from Pot 3, 4th team from Pot 4
The group stage matches will be played on the following dates:
- Matchday 1: September 19-20, 2023
- Matchday 2: October 26-27, 2023
- Matchday 3: November 23-24, 2023
- Matchday 4: December 13-14, 2023
- Matchday 5: December 19-20, 2023
- Matchday 6: March 21-22, 2024
The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals, which will be played on April 4-5 and 11-12, 2024. The semi-finals will be played on April 25-26 and May 2-3, 2024, and the final will be played on May 18, 2024, at the PSV Stadion in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
